How we save Bees

We sell unique craft honey, produced by ethical beekeepers, and use the profits to protect and restore pollinator habitat.

Pollinators are responsible for one-third of the food in the United States, but they are facing the worst decline in history. Between 50% and 70% of commercial beehives perished last winter — the highest loss ever recorded. Save The Bloom restores habitat, supports ethical beekeeping, and builds a healthier future for bees and the people who rely on them.

Our Mission

Habitat protection and restoration

Pollinators are losing the wildflower-rich spaces they depend on. We restore and protect native habitat through seed plantings, garden installations, and community partnerships — helping bees, butterflies, and other pollinators find food and shelter where they need it most. Support relevant legislation

Federal and State laws that affect the environment, habitat, pesticide use, and import/export regulations have tangible impacts on bees.
We try to make it easy for users to find out what the important ones are and connect with their legislators about them. Savethebloom.org/legislation

Promote “Craft Honey” as a concept

In a consumer driven society, the way you educate people is by giving them a choice when shopping. Craft honey distinguishes itself as a premium, pure product, carefully crafted, and demands a premium price. This educates the consumer, and increases revenue for ethical beekeepers Savethebloom.org/craft-honey

How you can help

Every jar of honey you buy and every dollar you donate directly supports habitat restoration, ethical beekeeping, and legal initiatives. Even small actions make a measurable difference for pollinators.
