- Honey Integrity Act
- Introduced in 2025 by Reps. Steube and Panetta, with Sen. Tuberville in the Senate. Congressman Steube
- Purpose: To create a national standard of identity for honey, and strengthen enforcement against fraudulent or adulterated honey sales. Congressman Steube
- Beekeeper benefit: Reduces competition from “fake” or mislabeled honey, helps protect domestic producers.

- Saving America’s Pollinators Act (H.R. 4277, 118th Congress, 2023-24)
- Proposed legislation to direct EPA to take stronger actions on pesticides that harm pollinators, including canceling registrations and revoking tolerances for certain neonicotinoid pesticides.
- If passed, could reduce pesticide pressures on bee health, which is directly beneficial to beekeepers.

- Pollinator-Friendly Plant Labeling Act (S. 2199, 118th Congress)
- Would require USDA to set up a voluntary program so that plants sold as “pollinator-friendly” meet criteria (native plants, no prohibited pesticide usage, etc.). Congress.gov
- That helps beekeepers indirectly by encouraging more forage and habitat via nursery/landscape practices.

- Building Native Habitats at Federal Facilities Act (reintroduced)
- This bipartisan proposal would require federal lands and facilities to prioritize native plants in their landscaping, enhancing pollinator habitat on public lands. Environment America
- Benefit: more forage/habitat for bees in areas under federal control, and a demonstration of best practices.
