Description
Revered among beekeepers, Tupelo honey originates in the river wetlands of the Florida Panhandle and southern Georgia, where white tupelo trees bloom briefly each spring. The nectar yields a honey of rare purity — light amber with a greenish cast and a silky, buttery texture. With its smooth sweetness and lack of granulation, Tupelo honey is the standard by which all others are measured. It is, quite simply, the honey of connoisseurs.
